Likelihood Ratio Algorithm

Suppose that we have data from stratum 0 and stratum 1. The test statistic is computed as :

$Z = 2Nlog(\frac{T}{N})-2\sum N_jlog(\frac{T_j}{N_j})$
  • $N_j$ is the total number of events in the jth stratum, and $N=N_0+N_1$.
  • $T_j$ is the total time on test in the jth stratum, and $T=T_0+T_1$.
