- 07/24/2014: report sent to PI.
- 07/28/2014: after reviewing the results, decided to do the additional analysis:
- for three-group analyses (IIT and as-treated), want confidence intervals for the difference between paper and electronic (contrasts).
- for scenario specific events (and for common scenario events), compare event completion (yes/no) in addition time to event completion (worried about informative missingness)
- rank based agreement (ICC on rank orders)
- agreement statistics for scenario specific times and event indicators
- assess the degree/source of measurement error/variance between raters. contributors to the disagreement between raters, scenario? rater? trainee level...
- 08/12/2014: the remaining analysis:
- events common to all scenarios (correct diagnosis, calling for help and notifying surgeon), could we compare event completion (yes/no) in addition time to event completion (worried about informative missingness)
- agreement statistics for scenario specific times and event indicators
- assess the degree/source of measurement error/variance between raters. contributors to the disagreement between raters, scenario? rater? trainee level...
Please note: analysis of event indicator and agreement of event indicators only performed for events with variability (i.e., we did not analyze event with extremely high completion rate of 95%+ due to the small effective size.
- 08/21/2014: the remaining analysis:
- assess the degree/source of measurement error/variance between raters. contributors to the disagreement between raters, scenario? rater? trainee level...
Need reference reading.
- 09/02/2014: meeting with PI went over results, and will create a table to show task completion rate and adjusted ORs (using generalized linear mixed effects model)
- 09/08/2014: results added to the report and sent for review.
- 10/02/2014: circulation of survey paper
- 10/06/2014: circulation of ped simulation paper: adjusted ORs were re calulcated using logistic regression + robust variance-covariance estimates.
- 10/15/2014: survey paper edits.
- 10/15/2014: ped simulation paper: need add a new outcome for analysis, time to checklist used (scenario-common).
