Selecting Journals to Follow

Which journals you follow and how many you follow is a matter of personal preference. The following tools and tips are useful in helping you decide.
  • Project Euclid not only offers an expansive list of journals, but projects RSS feeds for them as well.
  • SJR offers an extensive list of ranked journals.
  • eigenFactor offers a ranked listed of journals by academic category.
  • Searching Google Scholar's metrics by a keyword like statistics or biostatistics provides a top 20 list of journals.
  • The membership pages of leading statistical societies often offer a list of that society's journals.
