Title: Recent Applications of Approximate Message Passing Algorithms for High-dimensional Statistical Estimation

Abstract: In this talk I give a broad overview of Approximate Message Passing algorithms, a class of low-complexity, scalable algorithms that have recently been proposed for use in solving high-dimensional linear regression tasks when the size of the problem causes more traditional approaches to fail. These types of algorithms have been used in many applications including signal processing, machine learning, statistical data analysis, and information theory.
