Ongoing Projects:

Dr. Jim Sutcliffe: I am a co-investigator (15%) in his autism genetics study.

Dr. Pat Levitt: Various projects.

Past Projects:

Dr. Pat Levitt (mid 2007): Work on gene-gene interaction analysis between MET and four other genes. A manuscript has been submitted.

Dr. Pat Levitt (06/2006 - 07/2006): Work on a grant as part of the Vanderbilt-Miami ACE application. The grant was re-submitted as an independent R01 and was funded.

Dr. Monsheel Sodhi (04/2006 - 01/2007): Study gene-gene interaction effects on multiple endpoint measurements in a schizophrenia study. A manuscript will be submitted.

Consultations:

Dr. Bahr Weiss (03/2007): E-mails and a phone call about a potential genetics study using a large pedigree in Vietnam.

Dr. Richard Urbano (02/2007): Discuss strategies in responding to paper reviews and ways of correctly presenting results.

Dr. Jennifer Blackford (02/2007): Discuss strategies in designing a study for an K application.

Drs. Dan Campbell and Pat Levitt (08/2006): I helped with calculation of relative risks and associated confidence intervals. (for a total of 3-4 hours). Acknowledged in their famous PNAS paper.

Hayley Shelton Arnold (05/2006): We met twice (for a total of 3-4 hours) to discuss choices of statistical methods for her dissertation.

Education:

I give a talk titled "What is Interaction for A Binary Outcome?" on September 19, 2007 as a regular noon seminar.

I give a talk titled "Genome-Wide Association Studies: Issues and Approaches" on August 21, 2006 at the Conference on Analysis of Complex Data Sets.

I give a talk titled "Association Analysis in Human Genetics Studies" on July 26, 2006 as a regular noon seminar.
