How to find the impact factor for a journal

  • To find the highest impact journal in a field, such as OB/GYN:
    1. Select View a group of journals by Subject Category
    2. Submit
    3. Type O to select OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY
    4. Sort journals by: Impact Factor
    5. Submit
Note there is also a category STATISTICS & PROBABILITY.

  • To find the journals with the overall highest impact factor:
    1. View all journals.
    2. Sort by Impact Factor
    3. SORT AGAIN
