Hourglass

Hourglass is a simple time-tracking application for your desktop.

Features

  • Running timer for the activity you're working on
  • Untimed activity tracking (activities with a duration, but no start and end times)
  • Enter in previous activities
  • Autocomplete for activity names and project names
  • Off-site usage via web browser
  • Summary of time spent on each project

Installation

Ubuntu

If you're using Ubuntu 12.04 (or a flavor of Ubuntu, such as Kubuntu or Xubuntu), you can install the Hourglass package through Aptitude.

From a terminal run:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:kindlyviking/hourglass
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install hourglass

Mac OSX and Windows
