Model of ADE-free Survival Probabilities based on Patient Characteristics at HAART Initiation

This model was created using data from 1891 patients initiating HAART in the CHORUS cohort. Details are found in Hulgan et al. (2007), JID 195:425-431.

The resulting estimate is the probability of being alive and AIDS defining event (ADE)-free at the specified number of months after HAART initiation. Lower and upper correspond to the lower and upper levels of the 95% confidence interval for the ADE-free survival probability. It should be noted that the reported confidence intervals do not account for model fitting uncertainty and may therefore be slightly too narrow. Prediction will be poor outside the general range of data from which the model was created.
