Geany Editor/IDE

Geany is an outstanding editor and integrated development environment, with a wonderful navigation panel that allows you to navigate files opened for editing or symbols such as LaTeX sections and R functions. There is a debian/Ubuntu package that is easy to install, but it is only updated about every 6 months. To get the latest development version follow the instructions below.
