Can we predict success in academic medical research?

Academic medical research is a challenging career. Like other such fields, many people who start in this career do not stay in it. Can we predict success? More importantly, can we learn how to better teach people to succeed in research careers? In addition to exploring research on these ideas, we will discuss specific things that individuals and institutions can do to promote success.

This talk will include interactive content. Please bring a smartphone, tablet, or laptop to the session.
