Faculty Salary Letters (Annual) - Procedure
Each year, usually around April/May/June, Linda will receive a notification from finance regarding annual salary letters for the faculty. The master e-letter is stored in the Share3 drive under Faculty. It is currently organized by year. Each faculty member receives a personalized letter with their salary increase, provided by Linda.
Once you prepare the letters (on letterhead)
- present to Department Chair for signature
- scan in color to .pdf and file a copy in the tall file cabinet under the correct year salary letter folder
- return original letters to Linda for presentation/approval by finance department
When Linda receives letters back from Finance these are handled one of two ways, Chair's decision:
- you deliver them to each faculty member, or
- Department Chair uses this as a rounding opportunity and delivers to each faculty member (preferred method)
