Hi, Please don’t send emails that contain links without the real URL visible. If you want me to visit a web site, write out the whole URL in the message. In my department, we advise everyone to never open an attachment or click on a link in an email unless some prior arrangement has been made. Links might point to a website that infects my computer with malware like ransomware or a virus. Or it might download the virus directly without going to a web page. Links in emails are the main vector for phishing attacks. If my faculty and staff have been listening then they will never click on links like the ones in this email.
