Tools for Team Work

Frequently we work in teams. Team work requires that we find some way to store and share code, data, notes, comments, to-do lists, documents, and many other things.

In this presentation I will discuss Alfresco Community Edition which is a web based tool for managing many types of content. The department recently set up an Alfresco server that can be used to manage many types of content, from simple documents and code, to data, report templates, and images.

Alfresco is a full featured project management application. Occasionally, one just needs to securely transfer a few files or set up a repository from which files can be downloaded. I will present a few tools that should meet these needs.
