We have also received a number of questions related to the Research Education, Training and Career Development function of a CTSA application. This should be described within the 25 pages allowed, using tables within the 50-page allotment for Tables. The RFA states "Applicants will submit a single unified U54 grant application containing up to four separate sets of budget pages (the parent U54 activity, K12 and T32 components, as applicable, and a summary budget). If a CTSA application is selected for funding, the U54, K12 and T32 components will be funded as separate, yet administratively linked, grants."

Please note that the application should be submitted on PHS 398, for which the budget pages comprise Form Pages 4 and 5. Form Page 5 includes the beginning of a Budget Justification section for which the applicant is instructed to use continuation pages as needed. This allows applicants to submit separate budget justifications for the U54, K12 and (if desired) T32 components of an application.
