Administrative Assistant III (Linda Wilson)

Under the guidance of the director, the ideal candidate will independently manage administrative affairs for the graduate program by:

  1. Interacting with professors and students
  2. Developing, monitoring and reporting on the graduate program budget
  3. Managing the program’s calendar and the director’s calendar
  4. Maintaining student records
  5. Writing graduate program policies. This function also includes communicating, implementing, interpreting, and revising policies and procedures as appropriate
  6. Composing letters and drafting letters for Director
  7. Setting and attending graduate program meetings
  8. Setting and distributing meeting agendas and minutes
  9. Maintaining program web page and interfacing with the graduate school
  10. Assist in curriculum development

Biostatistics Collaboration Center (BCC)

The ideal candidate will provide administrative and accounting support to the BCC financial analyst by:

  1. Responding to billing inquiries and client queries
  2. Participating in developing financial model
  3. Managing the BCC calendar
  4. Preparing billing summaries and workflow reports
  5. Assist in tracking and monitoring financial and budgetary information
  6. Developing/maintaining contract administration, which may include contracts for services and/or vendors
