  • Manage calendar of department chair as directed by Assistant to the Chair
  • Manage calendar of vice chair
  • Manage calendar of department administrator
  • Transcription for vice chair as required
  • Lunch with the Chair (CQI)
  • Set luncheon date
  • Secure luncheon site
  • Ensure full complement of attendees

Gifts

  • Maintain gift records/reconcile monthly gift report
  • Prepare and ensure timely mailing of annual thank you letters from chair to donors

Other duties/projects as assigned

Faculty Human Resources

  • Recruitment
    • Assist/support Assistant to the Chair in the recruitment of faculty
    • Work with AAII with regard to candidate travel arrangements
  • Human resources
    • New hires
    • New faculty orientation
    • Extant faculty
    • Assist/support Assistant to the Chair in timely processing

Faculty Appointments and Tenure

  • Faculty promotions
  • FMLA
  • Annual salary letters

International Support Services (VISIT)

  • Maintain records and ensure timely processing
  • Permanent residency
  • Visas
